America and the Holocaust: Deceit and Indifference

My reaction to the video in class is heartache. So may good people died for no reason. I find it hard to discriminate agents someone because of their race, religious beliefs, and just who they are in general. How one person change the mind set of so many others to hate a group of people is amazing. I was shocked when they were talking about how our president did nothing to help prevent such a thing from happening. In grade school i remember learning about the Holocaust and what happened, but we were never taught about how our country didn't do anything to help when information was brought to there attention.
